Emergency Shelter Program

Offering a full range of services specifically tailored
to the unique needs of homeless men in Ventura County.

Men over the age of 18 that are sober and have a TB card are welcome to stay at our "first-come, first-serve" emergency shelter. There are a limited amount of beds, and a guest who receives a stay at the shelter has a bed for 10 consecutive nights if he wants it. All that is required is that the guest sign in each night before  5:00p.m.

We will refuse service to anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. And, the Ventura Rescue Mission is a smoke free environment so no smoking will be allowed in or on the premises.

The accommodations include dinner and a hot shower. A Chapel Service is conducted each evening and all are encouraged to attend. A warm, clean bunk bed with clean linen and warm blankets will be assigned to each guest for the duration of their stay.
